Students in Kindergarten will participate in a daily take-home reading program called: 100 Book Challenge.

Students began bringing home 100 Book Challenge books in October.  Students are expected to "read" two books to their parents each night.  Parents may need to read the title and the first page of the book to their child, but children should catch on to the pattern of the book and be able to finish it on their own.  Please allow students to use the picture clues and remind them to get their mouth ready for the first sound of tricky words.  Students should be pointing under each word as they read.  Please cross off and initial one box on the number log for each book read.  Once students reach 100 books, they will earn a bronze medal.  Thank you for your support in this wonderful reading program!
